alright, i want everyone's opinion about this. why do people cry from both joy and pain? i have my own theory, which i'll share after everyone has said something. say whatever you like, i really am curious.
*****alright, before i state what i think, i thank everyone for your perspectives, they were all quite interesting and helpful. *grins* yes, even shade's.
ok, here it is (credit goes to Sm0kstr for the ideas and making me think about this) i'm putting the conversation on here that i had:
Sm0kstr: why do both pain and joy in great amounts produce the same thing?
ShadowL0R: joy because it is foreign to humans, so much light that there has to be some response
Sm0kstr: but why the same reaction as pain?
Sm0kstr: why not laughter?
Sm0kstr: or something unique to joy?
ShadowL0R: two extremes of tears...one is beautiful because it's like rain...it heals the land and cleanses it and makes it lovely
ShadowL0R: the other like rain, for in great force it destroys, kills, drowns
and that's what i think. don't even ask why we were talking about this, i don't really know either.

hmmmm well i just dont know. but i know this much and I hope you or no one else gets offended.
the bible (is that a groan i hear from Shade??? yes the bible) says we should rejoice when someone dies yet feel sadden when someone is born in to the world. From what I gather you are suppose to be happy that the person has went to a better place ( to be with his father (God) and the rest of his kin folk that might have died). Yet that kinda sucks to cause what if you lived a rotten life .. you know you cheat or killed people (and no one knew this) and then you died but you go to hell , yet people are rejoicing thinkin you went to heaven... hmmmm i have to much time on my hands... back to my point... if a child is born in to this world you are suppsoe to be sadden due to the fact that its a great moment yet the world is a harsh, cruel world. Y would you want some one to live in it ... but to really answer your question without trying to make this long..
I cry for joy because i must be really happy and i cry from pain cause I might be really anrgy (or i had surgey and it hurts painfully ) ... i think its all about emotions and how you deal with them... do you act out or hold it all in... that s like asking y do somepeople laugh when they see other people hurt themselves. i know i didnt answer your post very well ... but i hope you can grasp something from it... though i dont know what...
Because crying is the release of intense emotion. Joy, sadness, anger, whatever. My main one is anger, personally...
RYN: Yes, I do. When I start crying is when people know I'm really seriously angry, and getting into an I-don't-give-a-flying-shit mood, which is relatively dangerous... It's usually directed against family members; a friend has only ever gotten me that angry once that I can remember.
Alright man thanx for the spelling correction.
*GROANS*
Well I think that we only cry out of pain. For instance a mother's son is enlisted. He stays for two months and they exten it to a year. Now they extend it for five more moths then when he gets home, the mother is cring out of joy. But what is really going on is she is considering "I thought he wouldn't come home" and other possibilities. But as far as someone goes from laughing to crying I think it is just... confusion in the brain core.
Idont know about crying but this did make me weep .
DREAMS OF BLOOD HOPES OF DEATH
