I like the title, too. It's like... standing in the bottom of a canyon, then looking ahead and seeing a single guiding star. Kinda gives a sense of hope.
There's something charming and powerful in the simplicity. And isn't it just as well if you can get your meaning out with only three lines as opposed to fifteen?
Dreams are the purest form of escape. What I find most disconcerting about night and sleep is knowing the futility of it all, since day will always come again and then we have to go through the motions from the beginning. Endless circle, and sometimes it just gets tiresome.

yes, the night obscures- sometimes..
the night obscures maybe but not effectively as sleep but then again there are always dreams and nightmares so perhaps there is no escape after all.
